  5. Connect remote turn-on: To head unit remote wire.

WARNING! Disconnect battery before installation. Ensure proper fuse rating. Avoid pinching wires during installation.

First-Time Setup

Power on amplifier; adjust settings for optimal performance.

  1. Set input sensitivity: Start at minimum, adjust while playing music.
  2. Set low-pass filter: Adjust based on speaker capabilities (typically 80Hz).
  3. Set bass boost: Start at minimum, adjust to preference.
  4. Check connections: Ensure all wires secure and properly connected.
  5. Test operation: Play audio at various volume levels.

CAUTION! Do not operate without proper load. Avoid short circuits. Keep ventilation clear.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls via front panel knobs and switches.

Front Panel: POWER indicator (blue LED), INPUT SENSITIVITY, LOW-PASS FILTER, BASS BOOST.

Input Sensitivity: Adjusts amplifier gain (200mV-4V). Low-Pass Filter: Controls frequency cutoff (50-200Hz). Bass Boost: Enhances low frequencies (0-12dB at 40Hz). Input Selector: Choose between RCA and high-level inputs. Protection LED: Indicates thermal/overload conditions.

Connecting Devices

Power: 12V battery, ground, remote turn-on. Audio: RCA or high-level inputs. Speakers: 2-8 ohm speakers.

  1. Disconnect battery negative terminal before connections.
  2. Connect power wires: 12V (red), ground (black), remote (blue).
  3. Connect audio inputs: RCA cables from head unit or speaker wires.
  4. Connect speakers: Positive and negative terminals to speakers.
  5. Reconnect battery and test system.

Tip: Use proper gauge wire for power and speaker connections. Keep signal wires away from power wires.

Operation

Designed for continuous operation with proper ventilation.

  1. Power on: Remote turn-on from head unit activates amplifier.
  2. Adjust settings: Set input sensitivity, filter, and bass boost as needed.
  3. Monitor performance: Blue LED indicates normal operation.
  4. Protection modes: Amplifier will shut down if overloaded or overheated.
  5. Power off: Turns off with head unit via remote wire.

WARNING! Do not operate without proper ventilation. Avoid clipping by setting proper gain levels. Do not bridge channels unless specified.

Protection Features

Thermal Protection: Shuts down if temperature exceeds safe limits. Overload Protection: Protects against excessive current draw. Short Circuit Protection: Prevents damage from speaker wire shorts. DC Offset Protection: Monitors output for DC voltage.

Care & Maintenance

Keep amplifier clean and dry. Ensure proper ventilation. Check connections periodically.
