Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose proper mounting location.

  1. Mounting: Select dry, well-ventilated location away from heat sources.
  2. Power Connections: Connect +12V to battery, ground to chassis, remote turn-on to head unit.
  3. Speaker Connections: Connect speaker wires observing proper polarity.
  4. Input Connections: Use RCA or speaker-level inputs as needed.
  5. Fuse Installation: Install appropriate fuse in power wire near battery.

WARNING! Disconnect battery before installation. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

First-Time Setup

After installation, configure amplifier settings.

  1. Input Level: Set input sensitivity to match head unit output.
  2. Crossover: Adjust low-pass filter frequency (50Hz-200Hz).
  3. Bass Boost: Set bass boost level (0-18dB at 50Hz).
  4. Phase: Adjust phase control if needed.
  5. Test Operation: Power on and verify proper operation.

CAUTION! Start with conservative settings and adjust gradually. Avoid clipping.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls via front panel knobs and switches.

Front Panel Controls: Input Level, Low-Pass Filter, Bass Boost, Phase Switch.

Input Level: Adjusts input sensitivity (0.2V-5V). Low-Pass Filter: Sets crossover frequency (50Hz-200Hz). Bass Boost: Increases bass response (0-18dB at 50Hz). Phase Switch: Reverses speaker polarity (0°/180°). Protection LED: Indicates thermal or overload protection activation.

Connecting Devices

Power: +12V, Ground, Remote. Inputs: RCA or speaker-level. Outputs: Speaker terminals.

  1. Disconnect vehicle battery before connections.
  2. Connect power wires observing proper gauge requirements.
  3. Use high-quality RCA cables for best performance.
  4. Connect speakers observing impedance requirements.
  5. Verify all connections before powering on.

Tip: Use proper wire gauge and secure all connections tightly.

Operation Modes

Supports 2-channel and mono operation modes.

  1. 2-Channel Mode: Stereo operation for front/rear speakers.
  2. Mono Mode: Bridged operation for subwoofer.
  3. Crossover Operation: Low-pass filter for subwoofer applications.
  4. Bass Boost: Enhances low-frequency response.
  5. Phase Control: Matches phase with other speakers.

WARNING! Do not operate below minimum impedance. Ensure proper ventilation.

Protection Features

Thermal Protection: Activates when amplifier overheats. Overload Protection: Protects against short circuits. DC Offset Protection: Prevents DC output. Overcurrent Protection: Limits current draw.

Care & Maintenance

Keep amplifier clean and dry. Ensure proper ventilation. Check connections periodically.

CAUTION! Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures. Clean with dry cloth only.
