Car Multimedia & Head Units (DMX, DDX, DNX series)

• “No Signal” or Black Screen: Press RESET button (small hole); update firmware via USB.
• Apple CarPlay / Android Auto Not Connecting: Use original cable; enable “USB Debugging” (Android); try rear USB port.
• Bluetooth Pairing Failed: Delete all devices from phone & head unit → re-pair; max 5–8 devices registered.
• GPS Not Working: Check external antenna connection (blue wire); place antenna on dash.

Amateur Radio Transceivers (TS-, TM-, TH- series)

• No Transmit / Low Power: Check antenna SWR (<1.5:1); verify mic gain & ALC; reset to factory (Menu 999).
• Memory Channels Lost: Internal battery dead (10+ years); perform full reset and reprogram.
• APRS / GPS Not Receiving: Confirm GPS icon ON; use high-quality external antenna.

Kenwood Amplifiers & Speakers

• Protection Mode (Red Light): Speaker wires shorted; impedance too low; check remote turn-on wire.
• No Sound from Subwoofer: Verify LPF crossover is ON; phase set to 0° or 180°; gain not too low.
